Common acoustic sealing materials/structures include:
Edge seal: installed on the edge of the door frame in contact with the door leaf, mostly made of rubber, silicone or felt, with good elasticity, close fit when the door is closed, reducing gaps.
Door bottom sealer: Installed at the bottom of the door, it automatically sags (such as brush type) or expands (such as air bag type) when the door is closed, filling the gap between the bottom of the door and the ground, blocking sound, light and air flow.
Seal the connection between the wall and the door frame: Use materials such as acoustic felt, sealant and other materials to fill the gap between the door frame and the wall (such as the gap reserved during installation) to avoid sound transmission through the structural gap.
Composite sealing system: Combine a variety of sealing materials (edge seals, door bottom seals, wall seals) to form an all-round acoustic seal and improve the overall sound insulation effect.
