  • What panic exit devices are required for commercial buildings?

    Commercial buildings require panic exit devices (also called crash bars or push bars) on emergency exit doors in most jurisdictions. In North America, UL Listed panic devices meeting UL 305 and ANSI/BHMA A156.3 are required. In Europe, CE-marked devices meeting EN 1125 (panic hardware) or EN 179 (emergency exit hardware) are required.
