The Door Bottom Seal Strip is a fully-mortised, heavy-duty automatic drop-down seal engineered for installation on hollow metal doors or aluminium door rails. Its innovative "flat back" design ensures a sleek, flush fit that does not interfere with door operation or aesthetics. The seal operates through a reliable spring-loaded mechanism that automatically lifts the sealing strip clear of the floor as soon as the door is opened by just a few millimetres—preventing unnecessary wear and tear on flooring surfaces. When the door closes, pressure against the adjustable strike button mounted on the door jamb triggers the seal to drop firmly into place, creating an effective barrier against drafts, dust, noise, light, and smoke. This versatile seal accommodates door lengths ranging from 450mm to 1200mm, with an additional 150mm allowance for on-site cutting to achieve a customised, precise fit.
